Torqueflow now in Polski

Torqueflow is now available in Polski.

The UK garage management software with a Polish UI – for owners, mechanics, and customers. Staff dashboard, technician job cards, kiosk, and customer portal, the lot.

Torqueflow dashboard in English and Polski

The UK auto trade is more multilingual than most software companies acknowledge. A meaningful share of independent UK garages are owned by Polish speakers, employ Polish-speaking mechanics, and serve Polish-speaking customers – many of whom are perfectly fluent in English on the customer-facing surface but switch to Polish at home and around the workshop.

Today we’re shipping Polski (Polish) as a fully supported language across the entire Torqueflow platform – staff dashboard, technician job cards, kiosk, customer portal, the lot.

What’s translated

The whole staff-facing UI is in Polski. Every screen, every button, every error message:

  • Navigation and dashboards
  • Work orders, kanban, scheduling, parts, suppliers
  • Customer and vehicle records
  • Time tracking and the kiosk
  • Finance – invoices, statements, credit notes, billing, reports
  • Settings – every page, every option
  • Communications inbox
  • Voice AI dashboard pages
  • Validation messages and toasts

The customer portal is also fully translated, including login flow, dashboards, work orders, invoices, messages, and quote acceptance.

How users pick a language

Per user. Each staff member picks their own language from the user menu in the top-right. The change is instant – no logout, no page refresh.

Per organisation default. Owners can set a default language for new staff in Settings → Organisation → Regional. New team members see Torqueflow in your chosen default until they pick their own preference.

Customer portal – automatic. The portal reads each customer’s browser language settings on first visit. A Polish-speaking customer with their phone set to Polish opens the portal in Polish. An English-speaking customer sees English. No setup work for you.

Designed for the UK Polish-speaking trade

This is Polish as spoken by Polish people living and working in the UK – not Polish as spoken in Poland. The two are slightly different in this context:

  • UK regulatory terms stay in English. MOT, DVLA, VAT, HMRC – your customers see these on their own paperwork in English. Translating them creates more confusion than it removes.
  • Currency stays in GBP £. The labels around it are translated; the values aren’t.
  • Brand names stay as-is in any language: Torqueflow, Stripe, WhatsApp.
  • Customer portal uses formal address (Pan/Pani) because it’s customer-facing. Staff UI uses informal-but-professional ty-form because that’s how garage teams talk to each other.

What’s not translated yet (and why)

We’d rather tell you up front than have you discover it three weeks in:

  • Voice AI calls – the AI agent on the phone speaks English in this version. Multilingual call handling is being built separately.
  • SMS and WhatsApp message bodies sent to customers. The inbox UI is translated; the actual messages your AI sends are still English-only.
  • PDF documents – invoices, quotes, statements, credit notes. PDFs are still English. Polish diacritics in PDFs are an open item we’re working on.
  • Most outbound transactional emails. A handful of emails are translated; most aren’t yet.

These are on the roadmap. We’ll lift them when they’re ready.

Why this matters

A meaningful slice of the UK independent garage trade speaks Polish at home, in the workshop, with each other, and with a chunk of their customer base. Software that ignores that is software that adds friction to every screen – small friction, but adding up across a thousand interactions a week.

“Polski is also a clear market gap. None of the established UK garage management systems ship Polish UIs. Torqueflow is the first.”
